I’m a business coach. A huge part of my job is to ask good questions. I’ve always believed that good questions are one of the most powerful forces in the universe. The Key Consideration
If you’re struggling with something in your business (and have been for a while), then it might be that you’re asking the wrong questions.
To get to the right answers, we must ask the right questions.

Let’s look at an example. Let’s say that you need some professional videos doing for your business. You get a quote and it will cost you £3,000. But you don’t have £3,000 to spend.
Some people might look at this situation and immediately give up. They think, “I can’t afford £3,000. I’ll have to leave it.”
Enter – the power of good questions.
Rather than give up, we can reframe things by asking a better question. Here’s some examples of good questions we could ask in this situation:
- How can I get the videos done cheaper?
- How can I get the videos done for free?
- Can I offer something of value in return for the videos?
By asking these questions, we have now immediately opened up possibilities. We have simply reframed things using good questions. These questions will inspire creative thought and solutions. This person could go to the local university and ask talented film students to do it for free. In return they get something on their portfolio.
Voila!
We’ve just saved £3,000. We did it by asking good questions.
So, the next time you are faced with a problem in your business, reframe things and ask good questions.
