How to Get Motivated When You’re Stuck in a Rut
Have you ever felt like you’re stuck in a rut but can’t quite put your finger on why? Do you feel like you just can’t get motivated? Are you feeling those Monday morning blues a little harder than everyone else? In this video, I show you how to get motivated when you’re stuck in a rut.

Tip 1: Got To Bed At The Same Time
You body has something called a circadian rhythm. This is your body’s natural clock (or body clock). If you go to bed at varying times, it messes with your circadian rhythm. Why is that bad? Because it will affect the quality of your sleep.
During sleep, your brain produces varying hormones to relax and repair you. If your rhythm is off, then you can actually end up producing more cortisol (the stress hormone).
Tip 2: Wake Up At The Same Time
Again, we’re after setting a solid circadian rhythm. If you go to sleep at the same time, then you need to wake up at the same time. Again this helps to set your circadian rhythm, lower your cortisol levels and get more of the good hormones that contribute towards good restful sleep.
It’s simple. If we reduce the stress hormone, increase more of the feel-good hormones, then we will naturally be in a better mood. Motivation is not just about willpower. Sometimes, it’s just simple science.
