Walking is a great form of exercise. It releases endorphins (the feel-good hormone), clears your mind and helps you to process thoughts. Any form of exercise is great, but I always recommend walking because it is one of the things we can do pretty much straight away.
Go for a walk where there is greenery and water. Numerous studies have shown that walking amongst nature can have a massive positive effect on our mental health, cognitive processes, reduce stress and help our subconscious to process problems. Water has also been known to have healing capabilities.
In a study done by an American hospital, doctors measured the recovery rates of those who spent time at a nearby lake against those who didn’t. The group that spent time at the lake had much speedier and better recoveries than those who didn’t!
